Ottawa, ON – April 4th – As election season approaches, the Social Planning Council of Ottawa (SPCO) is proud to present Meet Your Candidate: A Community Dialogue Series, a four-part debate series designed to engage voters and provide direct access to candidates running for office.
This series offers residents—especially first-time voters—an opportunity to hear directly from candidates on key issues, ask their own questions, and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of their communities. The event schedule for each riding is as follows…
Event Schedule:
● April 12th – Ottawa South
● April 15th – Ottawa Vanier
● April 22nd – Kanata
● April 23rd – Ottawa Centre
Each session will provide a platform for candidates to discuss pressing local concerns while allowing community members to voice their questions and priorities. This initiative is part of #CivicEngagementMonth, reinforcing the importance of informed voting and active participation in democracy.
